Do you know someone who has overcome obstacles to accomplish something amazing? Someone that goes above and beyond to help a cause? Someone who has sacrificed so much, for the benefit of others? A child that deserves recognition for achieving an otherwise impossible goal?

Expose Hope is a new blog designed to give recognition to those who deserve it. With so much negativity in the news and on the internet, Expose Hope gives photographers the opportunity to tell stories that are news worthy, not because of the pain they are causing, but because they shed light on the wonderful things that are happening in this world that no one seems to notice.

Not a photographer but have a story? Send me an email and I will do my best to link you to someone that is!

We are looking for stories big and small.

A child that has overcome obstacles to do something great.

A grandmother that devotes hours or free time to an organization like Meals on Wheels or Habitat for Humanity.

Someone that has started an organization to help others.

Stories about groups and organizations are welcome as well.

I’m sure there are thousands of things I could list for examples and I sure you know several people right now trying to make a difference.

Let us help them make a difference and show the world that there IS a positive message to be shared.

Once a week we will also showcase a non-profit organization. Who do you love?

The official Expose Hope site is set to be launched next month. Do you have a story? Each posting will contain the photographers name and web address and all images will remain property of said photographer. By submitting the images, you are agreeing usage of said images on the site. Links to contributing photographer’s sites will also be categorized by state and available to readers. Please submit 8-10 images of the person you are submitting for the story. Try to include a few photos of the person doing the task that makes them special as well as a few environmental portraits. Also include AT LEAST a paragraph about the person. If you are going to watermark each image, please keep it small and in the bottom right or left corner of the image. Images can be submitted by ftp or email. Images need to be sized at 900 pixels WIDE.

NON-PROFIT SHOWCASE  If you have a non profit you’d like to tell a story about, please contact me at jen@exposehope.com.
